Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From all of us at the City of Beaverton, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen service members and their loved ones. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
