SGSTC would like to thank Georgia Pacific for allowing our students to come tour the facility and meet with so many of their staff members. The tour was very informative and gave students an inside look at a potential career here in Bedford County. All the employees involved provided our students with a wealth of knowledge. Our Early Childhood Education students from Susie G. Gibson Science and Technology Center had an incredible experience attending the 2026 Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts Art Integration Symposium! 🎨✨
This inspiring event brought together educators, artists, and community members to explore creative strategies for classroom management and social-emotional learning through the arts. Our students gained valuable insight into how meaningful, engaging instruction can shape young learners’ development-and had so much fun along the way!
