Youth Council would like to share and remind our fellow community members the precautions that should be made to keep ourselves safe during this quarantine. Attached are some tips and tricks to keep you and your family safe! Also there are some educational links and tips to help keep your kiddos busy 😃
Routines make kids feel safe! Structure is important! Try to maintain an normal sleep schedule and have meals around the same time everyday. Involve your kids in more activities, like creating a daily plan or goal! Anything that encourages activity will help keep you and your kiddos sane!

Come and be apart of the Census kick-off! Census is a vital tool that allows us to obtain an accurate count of our community members, which will bring proper funding for our roads, healthcare, local programs, and so much more!

The Turtle Mountain Youth Council was invited to speak on a panel at Strengthening Government to Government Partnerships and Relationships by the North Dakota Indian Affairs Commission about youth leadership. It was an honor to speak at this panel. Governor Doug Burgum , First Lady Kathryn Burgum, and Jamie Azure Turtle Mountain Tribal Chairman were among many other dignitaries that attended this panel. We always look forward to having these very important discussions on how we can be a voice for the youth of the Turtle Mountains. We also received valuable feedback on how our initiatives can make an impact on our tribal nation and the State of North Dakota. These engagements allow us to uphold our core values of impact, inspire, empower, and commit to change for the youth of the Turtle Mountains. Chi-Miigwetch for the support and the invitation.
