Belgrade Community Library Our new building at 205 E Main Street is NOW OPEN! The Mission of the Belgrade Community Library is to empower a community of lifelong learners.

Belgrade Community Library has more than 35,000 items in the collection, as well as more than 5,600 registered borrowers. The Library receives more than 6,000 visits from borrowers per month. History of Library

The Belgrade Community Library was established in 1932 by the Belgrade Women’s club. It was housed in the city offices. In 1934 volunteers began building a new log structure on Main Street

and on January 24, 1935 the library moved into the “Log Cabin.” This was home for the library until 1989 when again community volunteers came together and built the facility at 106 N. Broadway and the library moved once more. In 2002, a new addition to the library was built, adding 5500 square feet.

Celebrate EMS Week with us by making a life-saving donation at the Belgrade Community Library's first-ever blood drive this Friday, May 22, from 12:30 to 5 PM! 🩸

Register here: https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=BELGRADELIBRARY We need to fill our final three whole blood and four Power Red appointments.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood and platelets cannot be manufactured; they can only come from volunteer donors. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. You could help save a life!

Join us for the Life-Saving Skills Series on Thursday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. for STOP THE BLEED® Day.

Bozeman Health Trauma Team and Central Valley Fire District are offering a free training for teens and adults during EMS Week. Participants will learn basic hemorrhage control skills that can help save a life before emergency responders arrive. Bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death after trauma, and this training provides practical skills anyone can use in an emergency.

No medical background is required. The course is open to anyone ages 12 and older. Younger participants may attend with parental permission.

We would also like to thank our Life-Saving Skills Series partners, including Backcountry Medical Supplies, Belgrade Police Department, Bozeman Health, Central Valley Fire District, and the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, for helping make these trainings possible.

Attention, community members, we still have plenty of slots open for our Moms vs. Teens event! Celebrate Mother's Day with this laid-back Smash Bros. tournament courtesy of the Belgrade Library, MC'd by local nerd Miss Rebecca.

See who has what it takes to be the real MVP and maybe win a trophy in the process (yes, there are actual trophies)!
