Need to get the kids out of the house this week? NDC Park Packs offer a chance to enjoy the outdoors in new ways. The Art in the Park Pack is perfect for just about any outdoor setting, but the Park Explorer Pack is especially made for exploring Russ Pitman Park. Order online and pick them up at the Nature Discovery Center up until 5pm this Wednesday. They will be available again starting next Mondays - Fridays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Hey Everyone it is the season for family photos and senior pictures. These are the pictures that everyone remembers through time. If anyone is looking for an affordable photographer my name is Peter Cuthrell and I am a junior in High School and I have started my own photography business to bring great affordable pictures to our community. The Nature Discovery Center has a new "To Go" program for kids ages 3 to 10 this fall. Each themed program includes a short video lesson about an animal group and 3 ready-to-make crafts! Next week our Critters and Crafts kids will be learning about FISH and making some colorful fishy creations! This program is much more about having fun with hands-on projects that tap into your creative side than it is about screens. Register online by noon on Friday October 2 to for bag pick up next week. Bags may be picked up Monday - Friday from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
