Even though I totally disagree with so much that John Stafford believes & shares on his group... Like the idea that Dr. Doug Cozad organized & encouraged myself & 3 other ladies "The Pink Diamond Ladies" as a Levy PAC preplanned attack on him....
I completely agree with him on THIS particular post topic & on the lawsuits that involve the Sunshine Laws & the current charges against Cozad & Board Members regarding breaking levy campaign laws with activities and monies.
These laws are very important, at every level of government campaign work. These aren't new laws. These are things that they should've already known about. Things that anyone entering into any type of election situation, should've researched or had proper campaign or legal leadership advising them.
I know for a FACT that, that the Levy PAC and Dr. Cozad himself... Were offered help from an experienced candidate, that he turned down, who would've properly warned him & the PAC of such illegal campaign activities.
Yet, as usual with this situation ... Too many inexperienced "hands were in the pot", that didn't seek legal advice prior to making choices, and are now being held accountable for their choices.
You seek answers, before making such huge mistakes & not going with the "ask for forgiveness later" p**s poor excuse later !
This stuff matters & a previous Kettering School Superintendent was replaced for lesser Levy Campaign illegal activities...
Dr. Doug Cozad & David Carpenter ... May very well be good people, in their personal lives, I'm certain of that. They may even be your good friend...
Yet... THAT doesn't, in itself, qualify them as good LEADERS !!
Karen Long.. again, I'm certain that she is a good person.. but, she was such a mistake of a School Board Member & such a disappointment !

At last night's 39-minute school board meeting, former Board member Karen Long spoke during the public comments section.
Quoting children's fiction books as her core inspiration for the "indicted" board members, she gave an insight into why she quit mid-term.
Listening to her speech, it is clear she was naive, unqualified, unprepared, and did not possess the temperament for public office.

The State of Ohio's criminal case against Superintendent Cozad, current Board members Carpenter and Slouffman, and former board members Betz and Kingston, is based on FACTS and EVIDENCE gathered over a long and extensive CRIMINAL Investigation.
This will end exactly like what happened in the Ohio Sunshine Shine Law Violations case. A case where the Board and Superintendent also falsely claimed they did nothing wrong and the Courts decided otherwise.
