BYC had their first practice! They’ve got 23 fabulous kids, and there’s still time to join them. Forward to any 5th-8th graders you know who might be interested, and if you want to come to their free community concert, save the evening of Nov 25th!

Bellingham Youth Choir is a brand-new community choir for 5th-8th grade students in the greater Bellingham area!

You don’t have to wait until high school for choir! Join BYC every Monday from 4:15-5:00pm to practice singing in an ensemble. They meet at Bellingham High School for 8 weeks and then hold a concert for the community!

Their wonderful conductors are so excited to work with middle-grade students in a community choir! BYC focuses on building a positive community and fostering a love of singing and choral music. They choose a wide range of songs so that students expand their knowledge of music and explore other cultures. Students work on ear training, vocal technique, and listening to each other to work together as a performance team. BYC is committed to creating an inclusive environment where students of all identities and backgrounds can feel at home and shine in developing their musical talents! At the end of the session there is a concert!

Hi all!! I’m part of a team of three launching this new nonprofit. Getting middle-grade kids singing in an ensemble before high school to support the performing arts in our schools and community!!

Hello everyone!! We are a brand-new community choir for 5th-8th graders in the greater Bellingham, WA area! We begin our first session SEPTEMBER 23! We meet weekly on Mondays at Bellingham High School for 8 weeks then perform a concert for the community. Three 8-week sessions per year--Fall, Winter, Spring!
