NWS has issued a slight 2/5 (15%) risk for damaging winds up to 70mph for tomorrow night. Timing is uncertain as im fairly confident based off early models nothing will fire this far north. So far on models I see nothing firing in our area but will update tomorrow if anything changes. This risk includes the entirety of Minnesota so kelliher, Bagley, blackduck, park rapids, walker, red lake etc will all be included.
Marginal 1/5 (5%) risk for severe weather today. Again timing is uncertain due to models not picking anything up happening around here. Just know it'll be at night if anything happens. Risks are damaging winds up to 70mph and tennis ball sized hail. This risk includes all of the above cities mentioned.
Once again mentioning. A marginal risk like today means there's a 5% chance of something happening and 95% chance of nothing happening. Tomorrow's slight risk. 15% chance of something happening 85% chance of nothing happening. Remember this if you chose to attack me for nothing happening. (I also mentioned I don't think anything will fire)
Also just a note 2 terrible weather apps to avoid is accuweather, and clime. Accuweather is just inaccurate with its forecasts. Clime I downloaded randomly and without fail every single severe weather event I will get severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings from other places than Bemidji. So avoid that due to added fear.
I will be going on vacation today so I will not be posting about marginal risks but will still post about slight+. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/ This is where I get risks at some you can check when concerned. Have a great weekend everyone, sorry for the long post.
