This is the libertarian student organization at UC Berkeley. Our mission is to encourage individuals to learn about, discuss, scrutinize, and/or advocate the libertarian political philosophy and the ideas of liberty nationally and globally. We challenge ourselves and others to put our

Appropriate to many libertarians' championing of relativism, there is no universal and simple definition of their ideology. Political libertarians, broadly speaking, value individual autonomy and condemn legislative and interpersonal coercion. As we delve into topics such as campaign finance reform, reproductive rights, and economic policy, the definition of libertarianism seems to grow larger and more complex. Our meetings are on Wednesdays from 8-9pm in Dwinelle 88, and mainly consist of speakers, structured debate, informal discussion, and other activities.
