GYSD 2016- Part 2: Meal Distribution, Over 150 meals!

For 2016 Global Youth Service Day, volunteers spent Friday night packaging about 500 lbs. of surplus food from Copia which was placed into 155 Shiloh Care Packages with hygiene products, toiletries, and so much more! Thank you COPIA for the food and thank you SODEXO STOP HUNGER Foundation for the grant!

I am so thankful that YSA got to be an official site for the Berkeley Project 2015! Overall, there were over 40 volunteers at the site and I appreciate all of their hard work and dedication to help build all 13 6ft. wooden benches. Thanks to all of the UC Berkeley Students who came to support Youth Voice Activate on this special workday!
