All residents who operate, lease, or store a vehicle registered with the Illinois Secretary of State and use public roadways within the City are required to purchase an annual City Vehicle Sticker between May 15 and June 30.

We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by Dunkinโ€™, donated, purchased merchandise, honked, waved, and helped make the morning so special. The support shown to our officers and Special Olympics athletes throughout the event means more than words can express.

A special thank you goes out to the many local business owners, elected officials, members of the Berwyn Fire Department, and Berwyn teachers who stopped by throughout the morning to show their support. Events like this are a great reminder of the strong partnerships and community spirit that make Berwyn so special.

One of the best parts of the day was welcoming students from Morton West High Schoolโ€™s Special Education Department, all Special Olympics athletes themselves, who brought so much excitement and energy to the event. Seeing the smiles, cheers, and connections between our officers and these students was truly unforgettable.

Today, members of the Berwyn Police Department Honor Guard had the privilege of participating in the annual Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital.

Together, we honored the brave officers who protect our communities each day and remembered those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside fellow law enforcement agencies in remembrance, respect, and unity.
