High temperatures and elevated humidity can quickly lead to heat-related illness.

Stay hydrated, limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, wear lightweight clothing, and check on older adults, young children, and anyone without air conditioning.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s with humidity on Thursday and Friday.

Stay Cool, Bethel! 🥶

We understand that today's messaging regarding the Planning & Zoning meetings has been confusing, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we worked to share information as it became available.
To clarify:
• The regularly scheduled Planning & Zoning meeting for June 9 was cancelled.
• A Special Meeting was subsequently scheduled for June 9.
• To ensure the public has adequate opportunity to participate, the June 9 Special Meeting has now been postponed.
• The agenda items from the special meeting have been postponed to the next regular Planning & Zoning meeting on June 23.
The June 23 Planning & Zoning meeting will be a regular meeting and will follow the normal hybrid meeting format.
Members of the public can view the postponed agenda under the June 9 Special Meeting Agenda link.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
