The newspaper article that I share below ignores some important history in order to make misleading conclusions. I have tried to give some historical context…..
Persia (now known as Iran) has a longer history than USA. It had been ruled by dynasties, royal dynasties for centuries. It tried democracy or constitutional form of government at least a couple of times but foreign interference prevented the Iranian people from achieving a democratic government. The most recent was in 1953 when Kermit “Kim” Roosevelt, a top CIA agent, orquestrated the return to power of the Shah (Pahlavi Dynasty), replacing a democratically elected prime minister (Mossadegh). The Shah allowed the oil corporations to exploit Iran’s oil.
A revolution ousted the Shah in 1978-79 and theocratic rule of Iran began under the Ayatollah Khomeini. Then another Ayatollah took over which USA has recently killed.
WHY WAR, now?

Why is the USA in an illegal (undeclared by Congress as required by the constitution) war against Iran?
Is Iran an imminent threat to the USA? Has Iran ever been a threat to the USA?
Is the USA doing the bidding of the Israel Government?
Is this for the oil?
Is the war a distraction from investigating and prosecuting the horrible crimes (individuals named as perpetrators) depicted in the Epstein files?
The propaganda machine is going full steam. I read a newspaper article yesterday and I felt compelled to provide some historical context.
