More happenings in the township.

Friend's, we are less than a month away from the 20th annual Bicknell Freedom Bash. Unfortunately we didn't get enough donations to have a spectacular drone show. I really wanted to make this year's event extra special in celebrating the 250th anniversary of our home sweet home of America. We will still move forward with a great show as always.
Please share this post with everyone you know and let's pack the Knox County Fairgrounds for a wonderful 20th Bicknell Freedom Bash and let's celebrate our countries 250th birthday. God Bless America! ❤️🇺🇲❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
I THANK each and everyone who has donated to keep this event alive for 21 years!
You can still donate!

Not only do Townships assist with those who have fallen on hard times, we also assist local volunteer fire departments

Across Indiana, township trustees are often the quiet helpers of their communities — serving neighbors in moments of crisis, providing aid during financial hardship, supporting fire and emergency services, and making sure no one faces difficult times alone.

Township government is more than a level of local government — it’s neighbors helping neighbors.

Every day, township officials work behind the scenes to strengthen communities, connect residents to resources, and provide compassionate service where it matters most. Whether it’s emergency assistance, community support, or helping families navigate challenging times, township trustees continue to make a real difference in the lives of Hoosiers across our state.

The Indiana Township Association is proud to support the dedicated township leaders who serve their communities with professionalism, compassion, and commitment.

Strong Townships. Strong Indiana.

This Memorial Day, the Vigo Township Trustee’s Office joins our community in honoring the brave Americans who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the true cost of freedom and the importance of coming together in gratitude, service, and remembrance. Today, we remember the fallen, honor their families, and reflect on the values that unite us as a community and a country.

As we gather with family and friends, may we never forget those who made it possible.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
