Residents Against Rehberg

Residents Against Rehberg Denny Rehberg (R-Mt) has done absolutly nothing for Montana in his 6 terms in congress. It's time to end his political career for good. Sen.

Denny Rehberg (R-Mt) has done absolutly nothing for Montana in his 6 terms in congress... except sue the Billings Fire Dept., get in a boat with a drunk driver [state legislator Greg Barkus (R)] at the helm (who later crashed the boat into rocky cliffs at high speed), & fall off of a horse drunk while on a diplomatic mission. On Saturday, February 5th, 2011; Rep. Rehberg announced that he would be

challenging Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mt) in the 2012 senate race. In his 4 years as one of Montana's senators, Tester has done numerous things to help Montanans, including introducing & helping pass multiple bills to help Veterans, helped save several mail processing centers (& the jobs they create) in Montana from being closed & consolidated by USPS, as well as multiple bills to help Montana farmers & ranchers. Tester has also, on multiple issues, sat down with opposing interest groups to help craft bills that benefit both sides. A shining example of the later is Tester's Forest Jobs & Recreation Sct, which designates thousands of acres of new wilderness, while also opening up thousands of acres to sustainable logging operations that help improve the overall health of the forest while also providing the lumber companies with timber, & also ensuring that plenty of forest trails remain open for motorized recreation. So the question remains, why would we want to replace Tester, who has done more for Montana in his 4 years of being a Senator than Rehberg has done in his entire political career (which stretches back into the early to mid-90's)? Sadly, according to a recent poll, 49% of Montanans support Rehberg over Tester, while only 43% of Montanans support Tester over Rehberg.
