🖤 BLACK AUGUST — LET’S PUT OUR MONEY WHERE OUR SUPPORT IS. ✊🏾

During Black August, I want to intentionally shine a little light on Black-owned businesses doing good work in our communities.

So let’s do something simple:

Tag one of your favorite Black-owned businesses in the comments and tell us why you love them.

If you’ve purchased a product from them, show us what you bought! Drop a picture in the comments. 👀📸

If they provide a service, tell us about your experience. Give them that testimony. Let somebody else know why they should consider supporting them too.

Food. Clothing. Beauty. Art. Home goods. Photography. Event services. Contractors. Restaurants. Bakers. Designers. Barbers. Stylists. Therapists. Consultants. Whatever it is — put us on.

And business owners, don’t be shy. If somebody tags you, tell us a little about what you offer and how people can support you.

Black businesses don’t just need applause.
