On this day sixty-five years ago, Rosa Parks sat in the 'colored' only section of a Montgomery bus after a long day of work. She was arrested after refusing to allow a white man to have her seat. This was the flame that sparked the fire known as the Montgomery Bus Boycott and ultimately led to the 1956 Supreme Court decision to ban segregation on public transportation.
