Want to help Vulcan Park and Museum put on their famous Thunder On the Mountain fireworks show?
Then go here to donate: https://vulcanfireworks.swell.gives
Message from Vulcan Park and Museum:
For many years, Vulcan Park Foundation has presented one of the largest Independence Day fireworks shows in the state of Alabama, and this year Birmingham needs this celebratory tradition more than ever.
Due to the impact of the pandemic, some of our long-time sponsors have been unable to commit. We are also asking residents to come together and support the show and our community’s strides towards recovery. In order to reach as many individuals as possible, we ask you to share the link to our fundraising site https://vulcanfireworks.swell.gives.
With your support, on Saturday, July 4th at 9 p.m., our community can once again celebrate the many wonderful aspects of our lives, and from the safety of their front yards and open spaces.
Be the first to know and let us send you an email when Highland Park Neighborhood posts news and promotions. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The neighborhood association meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, upstairs at the Highland Golf Clubhouse at 6pm. (Sometimes meetings are held at 7pm due to venue needs.) Email [email protected] for meeting notices and other helpful information. All are welcome. For meeting minutes of the Highland Park Neighborhood Association, please see "Notes."

Had a report from a resident in the Highland Park area, they noticed a distinct smell when they turned on their water this morning. We reported it to the Birmingham Water Works and they said they didn't have any other reports of that but would send someone out. Has anyone else noticed anything?

Does anyone recognize this guy? Sweet as can be. He followed me home this morning and is safe and sound for now. My neighbors can help temporarily, but we need to find his owners or a new family. He is not microchipped but is neutered. He’s great on a leash and in a car.
Has anyone seen a pair of keys in the cliff road/Pawnee area?
Grand Opening on Saturday, July 11th -- across from Rhodes Park on Highland Ave.
