While the 15th American Legion Legacy Run was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the need to support the children of America's veterans remains. American Legion Riders Chairman Mark Clark outlines how volunteers can continue to support The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund through virtual activities.

We have lost one of our Riders Please keep his family in your prayers. This is from Everett Vann's niece

It is with a broken heart that I let you know Everett Vann passed away peacefully last night. We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the endless prayers and memories that were shared. You just do not know how much it meant to our family to know you thought he was as special as we did. We made sure to read him every single one and are confident that he heard them all. As soon as we know the funeral arrangements, we will share them immediately.

TB will be leading a ride from Post 171 to link up with the escort for the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall, this Wednesday 6 July, KSU @ 1630. Please be early, as we need to stage as early as possible. It will be a very large mission and we don't want to be at the end of the formation.

If you can not meet us at the Post, please meet us at the Uptown parking lots, behind the Westin Hotel and the BJCC. It's on 22nd St N, between Richard Arrington Blvd and 11th Ave N.

This will be a Patriot Guard Riders' mission, in conjunction with the American Legion Riders. It is open to the public. Those on their first PGR mission will receive a Mission Completion pin (waiting on more to come in, hoping they will be in time! - if not JB will get it to you asap)

We look forward to see as many of you as possible!
