“The training that Dustin and Interaction Advisory Group provide is fantastic. Dustin has a way of sharing the facts about autism and developmental disabilities in a way I haven’t seen before. The signs and common traits of autism, interaction techniques, and caregiver importance is all content that Dustin introduces during this training. The chance that a law enforcement officer will have an encounter with someone with autism or developmental disability is extremely high and therefore officers need the knowledge and skills offered in this training to ensure a positive interaction. All law enforcement officers need this training.”

We are very excited to officially announce the formation of our Advisory Board.

The board will be playing a very important role moving forward in new curriculum development, community engagement activities and sharing thoughts and vision on a myriad of topics.

This is the precise reason we felt the need to formalize our Advisory Board. We are excited to work with this group to enrich our training and engage our community in more impactful ways.” - Dustin Chandler, President/Co-Founder

Interaction Advisory Group (IAG) today announced that it has established an Advisory Board. The newly formed board will play an important role in advising the company on future curriculum development, ideas of impactful community engagement activities and offer thoughts on a myriad of topics.

UAB sergeant who spent 3 months in hospital with COVID-19 has died after being readmitted

It's with great sadness we learned of the passing of Sgt. Parnell Guyton.

Sgt. Guyton assisted us in our asynchronous training and was a delight to work with. During that time we learned he had a big heart for he mission of training police officers in Autism and Developmental Disabilities.

IAG's thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time

Rest in Peace Sgt.

Sgt Parnell Guyton is critically ill with Corona Virus. Sgt Guyton works with the University of Alabama - Birmingham Police Department.

We met Sgt Guyton in 2016 when he helped us film several autism training videos. A man with a very big heart.

"His wife is asking for prayers from the community. “Please let everyone know that coronavirus is real, and they must shelter in place,’’ Fekisha Guyton wrote. “As a first responder, he went to work so we could stay safe at home.” - AL dot Com article

Please join IAG in prayer for Sgt Guyton to make a fully recovery.

Today began a two month long training event at Huntsville Police Department(HPD). By the end of February HPD will have all 420 sworn officers trained in autism awareness.

There are a handful of departments in Alabama which made this type of training mandatory with HPD being the largest.

These departments have shown exemplary leadership in serving their community and IAG as well as the autism and developmental disability community are very thankful!

We are also thankful to all the non-profits who have worked alongside these events to grow the sense of awareness in their respective community.

Onward.
