A new economics scorecard ranks Alabama consumers as the 8th "most distressed" in the nation. The scores were calculated by analyzing employment, housing, credit and net worth data. The data showed that Alabama's low score was driven primarily by unemployment, tight household budgets, and the inability of many homeow...ners to make their mortgage payment.

No matter what your score is, we can help you improve it!

Beware of companies that pitch bankruptcy as a "fresh start." Filing bankruptcy should be your very last resort. Bankruptcy makes a big negative impact on your credit score and remains on your credit report for 10 years or longer! It can prevent you from buying a car, purchasing or home, or even keep you from getting your next job!! There are better alternatives to bankruptcy and NHSB can show you how!
