The day after winning the Democratic Primary for Governor of Alabama, Doug Jones stood alongside Andy Beshear to talk about the road to November.

Governor Beshear, who won statewide three times in deep-red Kentucky and is the Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, made it clear that Alabama is in play.

They talked about the issues people actually care about: lowering costs, expanding Medicaid, protecting voting rights, supporting rural hospitals and farmers, creating good-paying jobs, and keeping young people in Alabama.

Holy cow is right, Governor Beshear. In Alabama, Democratic primary turnout DOUBLED from 2022 to 2026 - jumping from 188,578 votes to 364,635. Meanwhile, Republican turnout dropped by nearly 200,000 votes. Change is happening.
