A broad-daylight triple shooting that left one woman dead and two others injured Monday sent Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin going door to door in the neighborhood to assure residents the city cares about them and needs their help in solving such crimes.

On July 27,2007 About 11 p.m. Friday, officers on patrol in the area of Kelly Ingram Park near downtown Birmingham heard shots fired. They drove to the Sixth Avenue North and 16th and found Eulin Matthews, 19, shot and lying in the street. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead. Any leads........ ....
