Summer Indigenous Language Institute Registration is now open

Come learn Dakota/Lakota at United Tribes Technical College!

Hosted in collaboration with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Iyápi Program and Oun.

Relatives, administration, teachers, friends and community members:

Please join us tomorrow as we gather as a community to honor our incredible students alongside their families and loved ones.

The BHS Auditorium doors will open to the public at 930am
Students (including younger class members serving as helpers) to arrive at 9a for instruction and blessing.

Ceremony begins at 10am.
There will be light refreshments following the final honor song, and annual slide show playing in the gathering space.

You are free to take photos with your family and loved ones following the ceremony on stage with the tipi if you would like.

It's going to be a beautiful day. ✨️

For directions, instruction or have questions answered. please contact any one of the department members & helpers tomorrow: (Donovan, Chadwick, Suzi, Tomi or Tuŋwiŋ Annie High Elk) before the ceremony. We want everyone to know you are welcome and prepare to be a part of a beautiful ceremony honoring our student's journey as they close one chapter and embark on their new path.

🔉Calling all North Dakota students! Superintendent Bachmeier wants YOU to help shape K-12 education policy. Apply to join the Superintendent's Student Cabinet today!

Students in grades 6–12 attending a North Dakota public or nonpublic school, or students in their first year of a North Dakota college, are eligible to apply.

Cabinet members meet every three months at the state Capitol, serve 18-month terms, and represent the diverse cultures, school sizes, age groups, and regions of our state.
