It has been one year since Renzo Bullhead was reported missing on March 18, 2025 - and despite extensive efforts across land, air, and water, there are still no answers. With each passing day, his family and friends are worried his case is slipping into obscurity.

Investigators say the last known movements of Bullhead trace back to the evening of March 16, when he was seen walking onto a rail bridge spanning the Missouri River near Mandan, North Dakota. What happened after that moment remains unknown.

In the days, weeks, and months that followed, a massive and coordinated search effort has unfolded. Local agencies, including the Mandan Police Department and Bismarck Police Department, deployed drones to scan the terrain surrounding the bridge and the downstream riverbanks. The North Dakota Highway Patrol expanded the search from above, using aircraft to cover vast stretches of land and water.

On the ground, and beneath the surface, the work has been just as relentless. The Burleigh County Dive Rescue, alongside North Dakota Game and Fish Department, has conducted repeated searches of the Missouri River, carefully combing areas where evidence might surface.

In a renewed push, a specialized K9 unit from Northstar Search and Rescue was brought in at the recommendation of state authorities. The team traveled from Minnesota to assist, focusing their efforts along the river over an intensive weekend search. Despite their advanced capabilities, no new leads were uncovered.

Beyond official efforts, the community has played a critical role. Family members, friends, and volunteers have walked miles of shoreline, revisiting the same areas again and again—refusing to let Bullhead’s disappearance fade into silence.

Still, one year later, the case remains active.

Authorities are continuing to urge the public to come forward. Even the smallest detail could prove crucial in understanding what happened in those final moments.

A relative of his reached out in hopes we can spread more awareness about his disappearance as they continue seeking for answers as to what happened to Renzo.

He is described as a Native male standing 5’11”, weighing 180 lbs, with brown eyes & black hair. He was last seen wearing a black & grey plaid pajama pants, a black hoodie, & a black puffer jacket.

Thomas Medlin went missing in January, and his family believes he may have met someone online.

The 15-year-old attended Stony Brook School and was described as a scholar and an amazing piano player.
On January 9, Thomas did something he had never done before: he left his school campus at around 3:30 p.m. and ran to the Stony Brook Train station. Thomas was later seen on surveillance at Grand Central Station in Manhattan at approximately 5:30 p.m. the same day.

At approximately 7:06 p.m., he was seen on a pedestrian walkway on the Manhattan Bridge. Police say the last activity on his cell phone was at 7:09 p.m., and a nearby surveillance camera captured a splash in the water at 7:10 p.m.

What's strange is that Thomas has never been seen or heard from again. Police say there is no surveillance of Thomas exiting the bridge, insinuating he may have jumped or fallen over. But wouldn't someone have seen this happen?

Thomas' family believes he is still out there, with police telling People magazine that there is 'no indication of criminal activity.'

A coordinated search took place on November 22, 2025 near the train bridge on the Bismarck side. The effort included volunteer ground searchers, Northstar Search & Rescue’s cadaver dog team, and supporting partners who assisted in securing legal access to the restricted ground area.

This search was organized after Renzo’s mom, Deidre “Roxy” Leaf, participated in a session with the Big Sky Medium, who indicated that a specific location near the river could be significant. Because of that information, Northstar’s K9 team focused on the water, while the ten volunteer ground searchers focused on the restricted ground area that has not been accessible since the start of the case.

This was the first time the family and volunteers were legally permitted to enter that location. All areas flagged by ground searchers, as well as the water point identified by Northstar, will now be followed up through the proper law-enforcement channels only.
