Penguin Plunge

Penguin Plunge Since our founding in 2007, we have helped 39 children and raised over one million dollars in total contributions.

The Penguin Plunge is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit group that works to help the families of seriously ill children meet their medical and support costs as they focus on their children's health. We are a 100% volunteer group located in Rockland County, NY, and each year our "colony" of penguins hosts an icy plunge into the Hudson River in honor of the children we sponsor.

A giant THANK YOU to everyone who came out the Penguin Plunge yesterday! It was a huge success with an estimated 1,000+ people in attendance and a great time had by all. It's amazing to witness such community love and support on that grand of a scale, and we know all three of our families feel that love deeply.

Hello everyone,
I am so sorry if anyone has mailed a check to the Penguin Plunge at 150 Hoover St., Blauvelt, NY 10913 recently and had their mail returned.
The post office incorrectly tried to forward it and as a result, the mail went back to the senders. I can't apologize enough for the inconvenience and we are heartbroken because your generosity means so much to our families. If this happened to you, please re-send your letter. It should not happen again.
