Working a full time job, running a three hat campaign, taking care of my kid. All while running a character account, socials, and web based business. I swear, if I don't slow down, I'm going to catch on fire. 🥵🤯🔥

Believe me when I say I understand the struggle. Pay one bill and get a disconnect notice for another. It's an endless game or juggling to keep everything working. It shouldn't be this difficult though.

Happy Flag Day! On this day in 1777 the Continental Congress officially adopted the design for our first national flag.

It honors the resolution passed on June 14, 1777, which established that the flag would have thirteen stripes of alternating red and white and thirteen stars on a blue field, representing a "new constellation."

It serves as a day to reflect on what the flag stands for—our shared history, values, and the ideals of liberty and justice. It's a time to remember that, despite our differences, we are one nation.

While it isn't a federal holiday where people get the day off, it became a nationally recognized observance in 1949 when President Harry Truman signed it into law. It grew out of a long-standing tradition of local celebrations and school programs that started in the late 19th century to teach history and civic pride.

Today we celebrate Flag Day! On this day in 1777, the Continental Congress officially adopted the design for our first national flag.

Had a great time canvassing in Ossian with Timothy Murphy for IN State Senate - 19th District and Tim Bradburn Jr. of the Wells County Democrats. Got to know some of the people around Ossian and spoke to several Democratic voters. It was a great afternoon! Can't wait to do it some more.
