Today, on Holocaust Survivor Day, we honor the resilience, courage, and enduring legacy of our survivors.

Boca Raton is home to one of the largest Holocaust survivor populations in the United States, and Jewish Boca is honored to support and celebrate local survivors through programs, connection, and remembrance.

That responsibility lives on through survivor testimony and through a sacred symbol carried by future generations: our 130+ year-old Holocaust Torah, brought each year to Poland and Israel during March of the Living.

Because remembrance is not only about looking back — it is about carrying memory forward.

Weekly Brief: A day and a half in D.C. with Jewish Boca 🇺🇸

Last week, Brandey Edelson, Jewish Boca's VP of Public Affairs, spent 36 busy hours in Washington, D.C. advocating for something that matters deeply: the safety and security of Jewish communities.

From meetings on Capitol Hill to conversations with national leaders and a press conference on Jewish security, every stop was focused on ensuring our community has the resources needed to gather, learn, worship, and thrive safely.

A quick trip. An important mission. And the work continues.

Todah.

Because of you, Jewish Boca has officially surpassed a historic $20 million Annual Campaign milestone.

This extraordinary achievement represents more than a number. It reflects the strength, generosity, and shared purpose of our community.

To our donors, volunteers, campaign leaders, and every community member who helped make this season possible: thank you. Thank you for believing in our shared mission and for helping write this story with us.

But the story doesn't end here.

Every gift helps meet urgent needs, strengthen community security, support Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world, and build a stronger Jewish future for generations to come.

Together, we are making an impact today and shaping tomorrow.

Where the Future Takes Shape.

The most influential voices in Jewish leadership, philanthropy, and policy will convene in Washington, D.C., for the 2026 General Assembly.

The Jewish community stands at an inflection point. Rising antisemitism is reshaping civic life. Israel faces years of recovery. Jewish engagement is evolving faster than institutions can adapt. The 2026 General Assembly is where we come together to address the defining challenges of our time and shape the future of Jewish life.

Thousands of Jews and allies. Communities from across North America. Israeli flags everywhere. The NYC Israel Parade is more than a celebration, it is a statement of resilience, unity, and pride, and a reminder that showing up matters.

Some things don't need explaining.

Proud to stand with our Federation partners, proud to stand with Israel, and proud to march forward together.

This Yom Ha’atzmaut, 300 local college students gathered with Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach to celebrate Israel, community, and Jewish connection.

We were proud to help make this meaningful gathering possible through a grant from Federation, creating space for students to come together in Jewish pride and celebrate their connection to Israel.

As we head into Shabbat, we are reminded that moments of joy, pride, and togetherness help strengthen Jewish life and the bonds that connect us to one another and to Israel.

Shabbat Shalom. 🇮🇱

Today marks the final day of our 2026 Annual Campaign Season.

Because of this extraordinary community, Jewish Boca has already surpassed our $20 million Annual Campaign goal.

But the story does not end at the goal. Every additional gift helps us meet urgent needs, expand security, invest in Jewish life, and build a stronger future for generations to come.

As our 2026 Annual Campaign Season comes to a close, there is still time to be part of the Season Finale and help us finish stronger than ever.

Watch the message and join us in the closing chapter.

When communities are built across generations, everyone benefits.

We are proud to share that an op-ed by Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County President & CEO Igor Alterman was recently featured in The Palm Beach Post and Yahoo News.

In the piece, Igor explores the power of intergenerational living and the unique model represented by Sinai Residences and the Federation campus, highlighting how connection, community, and integrated care help seniors thrive while strengthening Jewish life across generations.

This is more than senior living. It is community by design.

Jewish American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the values, leadership, and contributions that continue to shape our community and country.

For Florida Senate Democratic Minority Leader Lori Berman, Jewish identity and public service are deeply connected.

“The strong morals and values of the Jewish religion have been a crucial part of my upbringing and belief system. As a legislator, one of my guiding principles is Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. I believe each of us has an obligation to do what we can to promote social justice, environmentalism, and ethical responsibility, helping to make the world a better place.”

Raised in South Florida and a longtime Palm Beach County resident, Senator Berman has dedicated decades to public service while remaining deeply engaged in Jewish communal life.

A Lion of Judah for more than 20 years and founding member of the Jewish Women’s Foundation, she continues to lead with purpose, compassion, and a commitment to strengthening both community and civic life.

This Jewish American Heritage Month, we are proud to spotlight Senator Lori Berman and the values that continue to inspire her leadership.
