I had forgotten how much it amuses me to receive a message everyday saying the CECC (central epidemic command Center) cares about me!

Don't. Hit. Children.

That we even have to keep saying this is so messed up.

So glad to see NPR revisit preparing children and teens for parenting!

Respect for the Individual (Sunflower pillar)

"The belief that children must be punished to learn better behaviors is illogical. Children learn to roll, crawl, walk, talk, read, and many more complex skills without being punished. Why, then, wouldn't the same gentle guidance, support, and awareness of developmental capabilities that parents employ to help their little ones learn those complex skills also work to help them learn to pet the cat gently and to draw on paper instead of walls?"
