Normandie Inn

Normandie Inn The Normandie Inn, originally called The Chateau La Boheme is a landmark building in Bohemia, NY. It is said to have been a speakeasy during prohibition.

Built in the early 1920's, with an old world european look, it is a rich part of Long Island history. Rudolph Valentino stayed at least one night, and decades later, Ritchie Blackmore frequented the restaurant and was one of his "favorites". There are many stories of ghosts and hauntings that surround the reputation of the building. In most recent history the building was used as a restaurant / p

rivate residence for over 30 years, up until it was sold in 2004. The Normandie Inn is currently vacant and for Sale. This is a true opportunity for someone to own part of Long Island History and restore it to its old world charm. If anyone is has any interest or information on the building please post a message or email via facebook.
