North Carolina Longleaf Coalition Building on decades of interest in longleaf pine, the N.C. The Coalition’s Steering Committee currently includes the N.C. Forest Service, the N.C.

Longleaf Coalition was formed in early 2010 as a local implementation effort inspired by the launch of America’s Longleaf Initiative. Wildlife Resource Commission, the N.C. Natural Heritage Program, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the U.S. Forest Service, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the N.C. Commanders Council, multiple nonprofits, landowners and foresters, and other longleaf proponents.
