Our annual conference starts this Monday!

We are thankful to all of the instructors who have committed their time and expertise to advancing Idaho’s K9 teams in our mission to keep our citizens safe! We have instructors this year from Indiana, Washington, Texas and Idaho.
Thank you for all you’re doing for our members!

We’d also like to thank all of the generous donors and businesses who have donated money and raffle items to help us raise money! Without your donations we wouldn’t be able to keep our 501c3 non-profit going. Thank you for your support!

On March 27, 2026, at approximately 2:05 AM, an Idaho County deputy was performing traffic enforcement in Cottonwood, Idaho. The deputy noticed a female slouched over in a vehicle that was not running. The deputy stopped to see if she needed assistance.

K9 Enzo also alerted on the vehicle and a search was conducted.

Amanda Branson Spets, age 40, of Lewiston, Idaho, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of ma*****na, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of a legend drug without a prescription.

This arrest demonstrates our commitment to addressing drug possession that endangers public safety on Idaho County roadways.

On March 11, 2026, at approximately 11:20 PM, an Idaho County deputy arrived to assist a Grangeville Police Department officer on a traffic stop on Main Street in Grangeville, Idaho.

K9 Enzo and his handler also arrived on scene, and he alerted on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Christopher Johnson, age 42, of Grangeville, Idaho, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor contempt of court.

The Idaho Falls Police Department recently welcomed Molly, a police therapy dog in training, to the team. Molly, a two-year-old golden retriever, is partnered with Officer Eric Lyke, who is serving as a school resource officer at the Alturas Academy schools.
