Today is it, the final vote on the Budget/Override for Bolton. Voting is at the high school, polls opened at noon and are open until 8pm.

I encourage everyone to vote YES - but even if you disagree, this is your chance to vote and express your opinion at the ballot.

And there are a number of elected positions up for vote as well, of course. But we all know the override is the big one.

As you're probably aware, Bolton is facing a crisis due to the possibility of deep budget cuts if the Proposition 2 1/2 Override does not pass at both the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 5th and on the ballot vote Monday, May 12th.

Without the override the Council on Aging (including the Senior Center), Parks & Recreation Commission, and the Bolton Transfer Station & Recycling Center will be *eliminated*. The Bolton Public Library will lose over a third of their budget. And there are many other deep cuts. Details can be found on https://www.boltonoverride.org/

We hope you can attend the Annual Town Meeting Monday, May 5th at 7pm and support the override. Additionally, we need support at the ballot box, with in-person voting Monday, May 12th from noon until 8pm. Both the meeting and voting occur at the Nashoba Regional High School, 12 Green Road, Bolton, MA.

We need supporters to turn out to ensure the override will pass.

Thank you.
