Because of Mayor Ake's dedication to the Village of Bosque Farms, seeing the need to take care of the community, Bosque Farms EMS became a reality in 2007. BFEMS is a fully functional EMS program that provides Advanced Life Suport Services to the community of Bosque Farms. Thank you Mayor Wayne Ake for your support of our program. Today marks the end of a great era in the Village of Bosque Farms. Today is Wayne Ake's last day as Mayor of this Village. Mayor Ake has dedicated 20 years of his life to this Village and accomplished many great things in that 20 years. We will miss Wayne as Mayor and as a part of the Governing Body!

First positive case of COVID-19 in Valencia County

Bosque Farms EMS provides Emergency Medical Services for the Village Bosque Farms and the Town of Peralta and mutual aid to surrounding communities. We are asking people to stay home and only venture out if absolutely necessary. Please practice social distancing, good hand hygiene, and minimize touching your face, eyes, mouth, and nose. Wash your hands often, use hand sanitizers and clean frequently used surfaces such as counter tops and tables. We understand that these requests can be a burden but they are very important to the well being of our community, family, and first responders. Thank you for your understanding during this time.

The first case of COVID-19 has been detected in Valencia County.

The Village of Bosque Farms is aware of the concern that our residents have regarding the river levels. The Village is working closely with the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District and the US Army Corps of Engineers to monitor the river and make sure that we are prepared for any issues that should arise. On March 30, three paramedics, four Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Intermediates and 13 EMT Basics were sworn in by Albuquerque Ambulance Service Chief Krumperman. Paramedics Shelby Steward and Isaac Milligan were promoted to Commanders. EMT Intermediates Cameron Blais, Matthew Spear, Alicia Marquez, Francisco Baca, Sean Wehrmeister and Antonio Garcia were all promoted to Field Training Officers. Congratulations and thank you to all first responders for your service to our community!
