Are car-free streets the new reality? New York City has closed 14th street to unmitigated traffic, creating a busway open to pedestrians and bicyclists. San Francisco will soon close Market Street, expand sidewalks and add in an eight-foot bike lane for cyclists and e-scooters. The global movement to close streets aims to reduce noise and prioritize space for people, rather than just vehicles. Learn more at CityLab: https://bit.ly/2MdAxlz

To: Keolis Transit 5165 W Sunset Rd Las Vegas, NV 89118 (702)851-2600 From: John Locke 30 N Chardonnay St Reno, NV 89512 (775)722-8138 To Whom it Concerns: I am driver at the 415 Reno. I have a few concerns that need your immediate attention. I was and will continue to plan a potluck BBQ for the 4th of July; in hopes that I will still be able to do this. This celebration is a “Thank You” to drivers for this trying year. Now I know for a fact that we have held potlucks since Keolis has taken over for RTC Ride. We have a female driver that normally plans potluck and never had a problem getting approval; she planned the potlucks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and St. Patrick’s Day. In fact, she never had to get writen approval. Now, a male wants to plan a potluck and now written permission is needed. I do not feel this is fair and I am concerned that this is a form ofdiscrimination or even as far to say retaliation. Now, Abul Hassan and I have not seen eye to eye. I have brought issues up to the board about Mr. Hassan; I feel that is where the retaliation complaint stems from. The discrimination complaint is the fact, I am male that must jump through hoops, but a female does not have to. Now, with Mr. Hassan being a General Manager of this part of the company I find this behavior is childish and quite frankly uncalled for. I have spoken Joel Danforth (Operation Manager) about the potluck and was given verbal permission from him. Then was not informed directly that the potluck was cancelled, or additional requirements were needed. I was informed by another driver through Facebook that Mr. Hassan took down my signs for potluck. When the driver asked him if we can still have the party and Mr. Hassan stated yes but it needs to be work related. Now with this potluck is to bring morale up for the driver; how is this not a work related? I contacted Mr. Danforth about the incident he stated that he is now waiting to get in writing that I can use the parking lot from RTC Ride. This was never an issue before. I thank you for your time and hopefully my concerns are understood. John Locke

Why did you lie on the news that you’re disinfecting the trains??? You aren’t and I have first hand experience that you aren’t!!!
Good Afternoon, This email is in response to your submissions regarding your commute on the Franklin Line on February 9th. First, please allow us to apologize for the lateness in our response and for the frustration this caused. Please know that our Franklin Line/Foxboro Pilot schedule differs from Saturday to Sunday. On Saturdays, there is a shuttle scheduled to depart from Readville at 10:23 am. However on Sundays, the first available shuttle from Readville to Forge Park/Franklin is scheduled to depart at 12:23 pm. Based on the details you provided, the correct bus shuttle information was provided by personnel. More information on this schedule can be found at the following link: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Franklin/timetable With that said, unfortunately, we are unable to provide a refund per MBTA policy. We know this is not the answer you were hoping to hear, but as the contract operator for the Commuter Rail we must abide by MBTA policies on the matter. In the future, please call us directly at 617-222-3200 and choose the Commuter Rail option. Any one of our agents would be able to help clarify any questions that you may have. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for reaching out to us. Sincerely, This is not a response What of the misinformation that the information Desk Ticker seller and Train conductor saying that a bus would be available if I took the 950 train I understand the schedule issue but again your personnel are not well versed on the details as they should be, Had we been given options we might of taken the Logan Express to Framingham and taken a ride from a friend The issue is that how many others have been such misinformed and left in a huge parking lot with no cover from the elements Who would wait for 2.5 hours for a shuttle The train should be scheduled to coordinate with a shuttle bus and that information should be provided by all staff to share to potential customers I would love this escalated to a higher level as a customer service response is not addressing the issues involved The refund of not providing adequate service is a given and the fact that fixing this issue is not being addressed with your minimal response AGAIN I would love a thoughtful and thorough review of the issues involved and a decent response addressing the issues I put forth I will gladly share this with the Facebook and Twitter crowd but would prefer a review of the issues and how this will not be allowed to happen again
Very disappointed in your response time to assist a broken down train in Salem Ma. Stood freezing in 20 degree weather staring at the trains stopped north of the station with no movement and no updates other than the vague posts on the mbta site. Finally after a 40 minute wait gave up and drove. Paid to get out of the Salem garage and paying for garage in Boston. I spend $261 a month to be late to work on a almost daily basis. I understand that you're working with old equipment but this is what you signed up for to manage and fix when you took the contract with the state. You are not doing your job well enough and people are getting angry.
Keolis, whats your new years resolution?
Train crews being harassed by management for not wanting to take unsafe equipment ! Way to go keolis management you should be proud of your selves!
This was my ride home today on train 825 to wickford junction. Showed up to ruggles with the door open and stayed open for a long time without anyone noticing. This is a serious safety hazard with people crossing into vestibules as this is packed train with no room and isn’t the first time it’s happened. The conductors on this train are incapable of doing their jobs between this, not regularly collecting tickets, and berating passengers. Good job keolis.
Mattapan....shame on you. Please clean and offer some trash barrels.
It has happened again, they cancelled the 6:20 train out of Stoughton. Forgetting about the people who have to make it in on time. It's funny that they always say it's mechanical issues but my people over in Stoughton say that the train has been sitting there since before 6:20. Miraculously, the train feels better when it becomes time to turn into the 6:45 Stoughton train. Weird, huh?🤔 To make matters worse, we had to take the Providence train from Canton Junction that was forced to stop for us and this is what is see. Not one conductor came by to check tickets (thanks for the fare hike) or move this man. Thanks for living by your motto "Fare is fair!" #ThankYouForCancellingAgain #AwfulService #FareHikesForBadServiceIsNotFair
