Voter turnout this presidential election seems to have been approx 65% of the eligible voters. I had been hoping we would get a truly overwhelming statement from maybe 80% of our voters but at 65% it is more by far than we usually get.
2016 we only had around 59%. At a larger turnout with a larger margin for one candidate it is clear where the Nation is going...and it is time to start working on that citizen poll.

A More Future Tomorrow sees the great danger present in the rebalance of the powers of the Constitution that has happened in the past decades and accelerated in the current presidential administrations. This is not a new trend as it started with Andrew Jackson but it has picked up speed with Dick Cheney from his times with Reagan and pronouncedly when he was VP.

It is not just a Republican problem as many policies under Obama were also considered Executive over reaching. Trump’s administration is pushing it even further to a strongman government.

Many of the prerogatives of the Congress clearly granted in the Constitution have either been legislatively given carelessly to the President to exercise or taken by pushing the boundaries of definitions. Certainly now we see even the Judicial branch being attempted to be influenced in ways our agreement of government should not allow to take hold.

Great concerns; the Constitutional right of Congress to approve going to war, now much weaken by war acts used much beyond their intentions or passed without clear thought…the use of Executive “Agreements” with foreign governments to avoid the Constitutional need to have treaties approved by the Congress, the appointment process in general…

Support renewing the correct balance of powers envisioned by our founding peoples!

A More Future Tomorow is not term limits...we have term limits now.

We have term limits now, they are called voters. Term limits take away a bit of your sacred rights, the vote and the right to vote for who you want.

Who has a 5 minute idle law like we do in MA? The most polluting time for a car is when it idles. It's an individual responsibility to do this.

Hardly anyone follows it (I do religiously). Individuals either need to listen to music, have air conditioning etc and their convenience seems to be more important than the inconvenient truth.

Blame shifting to an organization while ignoring the individual convenience so many people will not give up or don't even realize they have is problematic to solutions. We all have a role in causing less pollution and acknowledging our own complicity is vital.

This isn't a screed about Trump...I have and still say we must have zero emissions from entities into the air or water. Until we do that the cost of pollution will never be captured and paid by those who buy the products made or services used.

We all have cheap energy and cheap phones because the pollution cost is never captured, it just gets floated away.

And that will be an individual role too because then if you want an electronic device you will pay for the full cost including the waste

But that is a far distant a More Future Tomorrow and the current path needs to be a continued incremental progress that my generation started and which turned fithy air and water much better. There is no radical solution, we will have flooded coasts, we will have shifting eco zones and we won't get better turning half the country off on enviromentalism.

A couple more individual changes...don't let individuals buy cheap underpriced subsidized flood insurance that just helps people build where they shouldn't (even without climate change coasts flood bad)....allocate people costs correct with a tax policy that has individuals pay more taxes for more kids, not deductions from tax burdens. Bigger families equals more pollution equals more tax burden...not less.

A More Future Tomorrow looks like 80 - 90% voter participation in all our elections.

The Party For a More Future Tomorrow endorses policies for watersheds maintained with a rightsized population, government with a 50-50 male/female composition, preservation of fish stocks, representative districts for elections based on logical factors.

It's a moderate practical party based on reality...it's a future based on long term good not short term "winning".

The agenda is for a new model of Shared Capitalism...not socialism but an acknowledgement that labor makes the profits even when the capital is private and separate. That the rewards must be shared equitably but by agreement not by government redistribution.

This future has a realization that polluting is not a right for a business but a cost that must be paid. That no entity has a right to throw pollution into the air or water and make it societies cost. That all production cycles must be closed ended with all output controlled and that pollution output captured with the cost borne by the produce price.

The Party for a More Future Tomorrow is equal rights for every human...no modifying adjective needed in laws. It is a meritocracy with selection by parameters, no name or picture needed.

It's a More Future Tomorrow...see you all there.

There are two words that sum it all up…low turnout…

Americans voting at 48% turnout of eligible voters is pitiful in any election but at a time when SO many voices were complaining the current party in control was going in the wrong direction…No excuses left for where we go.

In more words…half the voters did not vote and half the voters that did voted for Republicans. That makes 75% of voters who either agree with the way we are going or do not disagree enough to go vote. It means only 25% of American voters want a change.

It means we have no real change and a huge majority of Americans have actively or passively said they are good with reduced environmental regulation, dirtier water, dirtier air, warming climate, no gun regulation, not even moderate sensible gun regulation…this huge majority is OK with a vast military build-up, aggressive military action in other nations, curtailed legal immigration, an out of control budget deficit, an economy that gives most all the profit to the already very rich…

This is what the election said, it’s not unclear as in a free democracy you get what you vote for (and what you can’t bother to vote for also)…

It’s all Unicorns for now on and if you don’t want this direction I suggest your words on individual issues are better spent on creating real voter turnout participation.

This isn’t about Trump, this is about Republican policy. No matter if it is Trump, Pence, Scott Walker…whomever…if you vote in Republicans (or don’t vote and allow Republicans) you are going to get more of what is now happening. With only 25% of the voters indicating we need change I have to just say…It’s all Unicorns (and cats!) for now.
