Brothers,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that our BGSU Buddy, Ken Bowers, Died 31 Jan 2026, at home in Hope Mills, NC. We received a call from Ann this morning. There were several reasons for the delay-she has some issues to address with the hospital/medical people-but at this point it appears it was due to cardiac arrest. Ken had been seeing his doctor regularly and had no known issues prior to. Funeral info is attached below. Ann related to us that he was instrumental in starting the Boy Scout troop at their church. He was retired from the Army but has worked the past five years on the civilian side at Bragg. He and Ann also ran the nearby campground started by Ann's parents.

Deb & I were very fortunate to have been able to visit Ken & Ann back in March in NC. It was a great visit-just like old times.

I think I covered as many emails as I have. If I missed anyone you know of, please forward I had Suds's once, but no longer. (Ron-we don't really do Facebook, hence the email). I sent this to Ken's address so Ann could see it also. Love to you, Ann.

Ron Grahek here. I'm a 1981 graduate of Bowling Green State University's (Ohio) Army ROTC program. While visiting with John and Meg Shay recently, we discussed fellow program members and what they were doing now 44 years later. So we decided to set up this page to post pictures and memories, use as an outreach to fellow graduates and help others find each other and stay in touch.
