About Annette
As a lifelong resident of Maryland, Annette DeCesaris began her professional career simultaneously with her ongoing journey of motherhood. Annette graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in 1983 and subsequently served 7 years working as a public school teacher. Thereafter, she worked full-time in her family’s construction business while tending to her young family and pursuing a law degree at the University of Baltimore, as a part-time student. Annette graduated cm laude in 1997 and completed her clerkship under Judge Darlene Perry in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County. While working as a part-time associate for Cain & Wyrough PC, Annette succeeded in building her own, established law practice. All the while, she and her husband, Jeff Sr., were busy raising their two boys, Jeffrey Jr. and Jason.
Annette and Jeff, Sr., married for 36 years, are now the grateful grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren, and even though she won’t admit it, she secretly loves their dogs, Norton and Wally. Annette and her family are proud to call Anne Arundel County home, and as a judge, she will work as diligently as ever to make fair and reasonable decisions based upon the facts presented, in concert with a sound application of the law.
