I've lost count of the number of times I've used this clip in parent/caregiver trainings - and I'll continue to use it until something more effective comes along...because watching full-grown adults realize how empathy can support better communication with the children they care for? Immeasurable worth

It may not seem like an important distinction, but it makes all the difference in whether we can support our loved ones with authenticity and unconditional compassion.

Caregiver Education is back! Program Managers Heidi Lester (MT) and Chandra Ortiz (WY) will be presenting Trauma Related Behaviors on Tuesday, September 20th from 7pm-8:pm. Through this online class you will learn how chaos, threat, neglect, and other adversity during development can alter the developing brain and that, in turn, can change the ways children think, feel, and act – and how you may be able to support families and children. Registration is required! Please see registration info on the flyer below, or click here: https://kinshipconnectionsofwy.wufoo.com/forms/z1tyqpib01eqjpg We hope you'll join us!
