A new set of eyes, fresh perspective, and passionate leadership is imperative. My wife, Tosha, and celebrated our 13th anniversary in February. We have three children, Asher 11, Kyrie 9, and Salem 2. I also have a daughter, Abbey, who is 24 who lives in Tulsa, OK. I have lived in the area for nearly 40 years. My boys are students at Cedar Ridge Elementary in the 3rd and 5th grades. I spent 12 year
s working for Sight and Sound Theater, most extensively in leadership as the Guest Services Manager. My wife is still serving at Sight and Sound in leadership for the lighting department. I am currently the General Manager for HHM Facility Management based out of Branson where I am responsible for corporate communications, culture and strategic development. My wife and I also own a youth basketball club called the Springfield Lions. We have over 20 youth basketball teams ranging from kindergarten to high school aged players and nearly 150 kids. We are a club team that has everything from recreational to competitive teams playing in leagues and tournaments both locally and regionally. Our boys are heavily involved in athletics as well. A 1994 graduate of Reeds Spring High School, I later graduated cm laude with B.S. in Psychology from Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, and a minor in Athletic Training. Later I spent 2 years pursuing my M.Div. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary but did not finish this degree after I came home to take care of my grandmother in her final year of life. Faith and family are important to me. Education and investing in young people and the educators that pour in to them every day is imperative. There were few teachers and administrators who were instrumental in my personal and academic development. Two teachers and one administrator made an incredible impact on my journey. Without their influence I am confident I would not be where I am today. I am a student of leadership and its effect on culture and an advocate for fostering trust through transparency, authenticity, and integrity. Effective communication, working together as a team, pursuing common goals and partnering with the community are values that I believe are important. We have a responsibility to do what is in the best interest of every student in our district. I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve. Continuing, and moreover, furthering the legacy of Branson Schools is an endeavor that I desire to be a part of championing. I will bring fresh perspective and a heart to serve.
