We already knew she was a woman of achievement, but now it's "official!" Congratulations to our Board President, Pam Stanfield, for being honored as one of the 2026 Women of Achievement. TCH Director of Development, Founder/CEO, and board member were there to celebrate at the luncheon recently.
Since 1955, the Women of Achievement Award has recognized and honored the achievement of women who, through their volunteer efforts, have demonstrated their dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life in the St. Louis community.
"After a career as a teacher, principal, and university professor, Dr. Pamela M. Stanfield, chose to continue her life’s work in a more personal way. She now shows up for young people who need it most. As a volunteer citizen deputy juvenile officer, she spends Sunday afternoons at the St. Louis County Juvenile Detention Center sitting with youth, listening, and building trust through steady presence.
She also serves as president of the board of The Covering House, which provides refuge and restoration for children who have experienced sexual exploitation or trafficking. A published author, Pam’s books reflect on her decades in education and mentorship with honesty and insight. Across every role, she offers consistency, respect, and encouragement to young people whose lives have been shaped by hardship."
