What an unforgettable evening! 💙
City of Bridgeton Recreation & Parks Director John Medica and City of Bridgeton Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) Coordinator Stephanie Gonzalez would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make Bridgeton’s first-ever National Night Out 2026 such an incredible success.
It is always an honor to partner with the Bridgeton Police Department through our ongoing UEZ Policing Program, in collaboration with the City of Bridgeton Recreation & Parks Department, to bring our residents, businesses, community partners, and visitors together for an evening that truly showcased the heart of Bridgeton.
A special thank you to Chief James Battavio for your outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment in bringing together our Event Board, which includes Bridgeton Public Schools, Bridgeton Urban Enterprise Zone , Keeping Young Minds Occupied (KYMO), United Advocacy Group, Revive South Jersey, SouthEast Gateway, Gateway Community Action Partnership, HopeLoft, Games on the Go, the Bridgeton Public Library, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, our officers, the UEZ Board of Funded Events Committee, community partners, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, performers, volunteers, and residents to help make Bridgeton’s first-ever National Night Out possible. Because of your vision and leadership, our community came together to celebrate this important national initiative focused on strengthening police-community partnerships, supporting local businesses, building trust, and creating safer, stronger neighborhoods. Thank you for your continued commitment to serving the City of Bridgeton every day and making this memorable event possible.
It was wonderful to see our residents connecting with local law enforcement, supporting our downtown businesses, visiting community organizations, and enjoying an evening filled with fun, laughter, and community pride.
Seeing thousands of residents, families, businesses, nonprofit organizations, community partners, and public safety agencies come together demonstrated exactly what National Night Out is all about—strengthening police-community relationships, supporting local businesses, connecting residents with valuable resources, and building a safer, stronger Bridgeton.
❤️ To every resident who attended—thank you. Whether you came for the food, entertainment, performances, school supplies, community resources, or simply to spend time with your neighbors, you helped make Bridgeton’s first-ever National Night Out truly unforgettable.
This was more than an event—it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and everything that makes Bridgeton special. It showed what can be accomplished when law enforcement, City leadership, businesses, nonprofit organizations, community partners, and residents come together with one shared purpose.

Kelly and the Bridgeton City Council—Rosemary DeQuinzio, Marian King, Curtis Edwards, Edward Bethea, and David Gonzalez—for your continued support, leadership, and collaboration in helping make this event possible. A sincere thank you to the Bridgeton Public Works Department, Bridgeton Fire Department, Bridgeton EMS, the Cumberland County Department of Health, Business Administrator Kevin Rabago, and UEZ Project Manager Heather Moran , Finance team for your partnership and dedication in ensuring the success of this event.
I would also like to recognize and thank the Bridgeton UEZ Funded Events Board Committee—Teresa Mason, Harlan Miller, Barbara Jackson, Jon Marino, LaToya’s Kitchen, Minerva Alvarado, Tony Hill, Michelle, and Crystal—for your hard work.Thank you to Flying First Class Equestrian and Community Outreach Center for bringing such a wonderful experience to our families farm animals. Thank you to Christina Suggs for the incredible face painting, and to Ceci Garcia of PartyMix Cecy for the beautiful balloon creations that added so much fun .
