Chief Joseph Madden announced the arrest of Sharath REDDY (DOB: 5/4/95) of 399 Graphic Blvd. New Milford, NJ on charges of Luring a Minor, Criminal Sexual Contact, and Endangering the Welfare of a child.

On January 6th, 2023, at 5:01PM, the Park Ridge Police were alerted that a patron called in a suspicious occurrence at a local general store on Park Avenue. The patron stated that the door to the business was locked during open hours and the store clerk was waving away the patron. The patron called police. Park Ridge Police officers arrived on scene and met two juveniles who had just exited the store. The Park Ridge Police Detective Bureau was alerted and took over the investigation. Based on the investigation it was determined that Sharath Reddy locked the store door after the two juveniles arrived. Sharath Reddy fondled the breasts of one juvenile victim and solicited both juvenile victims to perform sexual acts.

The following charges were drafted against Sharath REDDY:

Luring 2C:13-6 – 2nd Degree
Criminal Sexual Contact 2C:14-3 – 3rd Degree
Endangering the Welfare of a Children 2C:24-4 – 3rd Degree

Sharath Reddy was transported to the Bergen County Jail at this time.

Chief Madden states that these charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 9:20 a.m., the person seen below unlawfully entered a home located in the 1200 block of 142nd Ave in Tampa. Once inside, he took several items including jewelry, cash, and various power tools.

The suspect fled the scene with the stolen property heading in an unknown direction. If anyone has any information regarding the suspect, pictured below, please call HCSO at 813-247-8200.
