Art in Public Places

Art in Public Places The Art in Public Places project began in 2006 with the installation of six sculptures in the downtown area. Anne's School.
(3)

The public response to the original exhibit was immediate and lively, drawing interest and debate from numerous sections of the community, including art students from Vance Middle School and St. The project has built on its initial success, bringing new sculptures to downtown Bristol each year. We aim to continue bringing public art to Bristol, increasing both the number and quality of our entries

each year. The Art in Public Places project is funded by donations from area businesses and individuals.

Jef Roberts Memorial Concert

Dear Friends of Jef Roberts,

As a musician, Jef Roberts was a true believer in the arts. I’m certain he would’ve supported any effort that encouraged young artists to express themselves. That’s the focus of the Artistic Excellence Competition, which gives area high school students an opportunity to showcase their talent. To assist this project and to honor Jeff’s memory, I hope you’ll join us with financial support of ArtEx. Donations made in Jeff’s honor will be attributed to the sponsor name "Friends of Jef Roberts".

See our website, aippbristol.org, for a full display of artwork from ArtEx 2012.

To make a donation, or to learn more about ArtEx by receiving our brochure and newsletter, please send me - Barbara Niemczak - a private message here on Facebook. Thank you.
