The Carbon County Sheriff's Office is aware of allegations concerning an employee of the Sheriffs Office and find them very concerning. We have no evidence to support this claim however this is not the type of behavior we expect from any of our employees. We have notified the Carbon County District Attorneys Office of this allegation. We would ask that the anonymous poster of the incident please contact Carbon County Detective Jack Soberick at 570-325-2718.

A special thank you to the authorities in Essex County New Jersey for capturing Leah PURCELL. She will be held in New Jersey until she is extradited back to Pennsylvania to answer for her warrants.
