My heart is broken for Fogo. 💔 I’m from Fogo, so this tragedy hits close to home. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families who lost loved ones and everyone affected.

Monday, 1/5, I was officially sworn in for my first term as a School Committee member for Ward 5, alongside my colleagues and our new Mayor

While in the room, surrounded by family and community, I paused, reflected, and looked around feeling the weight and honor of this role. I’m deeply grateful to my Ward 5 community for trusting me to carry your voices.

I’m ready to lead and committed to making thoughtful, sound decisions for our students. For me, this job is about showing up and making sure every student receives the quality education they deserve.

I’m also looking forward to working alongside my dedicated colleagues as we move forward together.
