ANOTHER LOW VOTER TURNOUT IN THE CITY OF BROCKTON

Once again, Brockton saw low voter participation in an election that directly impacts our city and our future.

Brockton didn’t change yesterday. It remained the same — and many of the same issues and challenges we continue to talk about will remain.

We can talk about wanting change. We can complain about the direction of our city and state. We can demand better leadership and greater accountability. But change requires participation.

When thousands of registered voters stay home, a small percentage of our community ends up making decisions for everyone else.

Regardless of who you support, Brockton needs to vote.

If we want something different, we have to participate in the process.

VOTE, BROCKTON. Your voice matters.

👏👏👏 Congratulations to Ellie Teixeira, elected today as the new Vice Chair of the Plymouth County Democratic League!

Ellie is a dedicated community leader from the great City of Brockton. A social worker with the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, she also serves as Vice President of the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center Board of Trustees. For more than a decade, Ellie has supported local Democratic campaigns and helped cultivate strong community leadership throughout the region.

Her commitment to public service, community health, working families, and Democratic organizing—including bringing Democrats together from every corner of Plymouth County—will be an incredible asset to our organization.

We are excited to welcome Ellie into this leadership role and look forward to working together to strengthen our Democratic community across Plymouth County.
