BREAKING NEWS - According to the FBI, property and mortgage fraud is the fastest growing crime in America, costing property owners over $200 million in 2020 alone. It is as simple as someone recording a fraudulent document against your property, making it appear as though they own it, and then take out a mortgage against it. The rightful owner doesn't find out until they receive a notice of foreclosure, but the Wagoner County Clerk's office is offering a new service that can help eliminate that risk. We are now offering fraud alert notifications through our website at no cost to the citizens of Wagoner County.
Eagle Fraud Guard is a free alert system that will send a notification any time a document with the property owner’s name is recorded at the County Clerk’s office. It is as simple as registering a name or business name, in the system. Then, when a document is recorded with that information, a notification is sent via email. This gives the property owner an early warning of property fraud being committed, and an opportunity to take action to prevent further fraud.

Thought today would be a great day to "cram the night before finals" and review what we have learned. More than any year in recent memory, there have been multiple attack ads placed by outside sources working against great candidates who lead in the polls for good reason. It is my hope these lessons will help you to w**d through them, do your own homework, and elect quality candidates tomorrow.

Donations by special interest groups may be an indicator that the incumbent has drawn the ire of that group. Watch for attack mailers. It can also indicate that a candidate can be bought. Of course, this is not always the case, but watch who is financing a campaign. Are donors out of state? A different party? Both are red flags.
Where candidates donate their own money, though is especially telling!

On Bartlesville Radio Wednesday, June 22, at 12:20 p.m. Jim Bridenstine will be discussing why he has chosen to endorse and support Josh Brecheen in the heavily contested CD2 race. Jim is the former Congressman to District 1, a former member of the Freedom Caucus and was most recently the NASA Director for President Donald J. Trump.

In the Bartlesville area, be sure to tune in to FM 93.3, AM 1400 or 95.1 FM at 12:20 p.m. to hear more from Bridenstine on the urgency of supporting the conservative candidacy of Josh Brecheen for Congressional District 2.

Let's share this one again, because the LIES in the attack ads are THICK. How are the two most conservative candidates in the CD2 race aligned with Pelosi and AOC, and one of them self term limited themselves to 2 terms rather than 3 and kept that promise. How is that a career politician? Do your homework!

Ads put out by special interests at the last minute do this frequently, and have on occasion taken out quality candidates with lies. Just because a group has "Freedom" in their name, doesn't mean they are conservative.
Additionally, if a candidate is only attacking their opponent, but fails to talk about why they are a better choice, their qualifications, or plans, this could be a huge red flag.
