From the snack cart deliveries to the out-of-this-world lunches, treats, drinks, decorations, and thoughtful surprises all week long — you made our staff feel so loved and appreciated.

Thank you for the time, effort, creativity, and heart you put into celebrating our teachers. Everything you did helped make the week extra special, and we are beyond grateful for all you do for our school and staff every single day. 💙

Last week’s Teacher Appreciation raffle was such a success, and we are so thankful for the incredible support from our local businesses and community members who donated prizes for our teachers! 💙

Because of your generosity, our staff got to enjoy fun giveaways, surprises, gift baskets, treats, and so many thoughtful items that truly made our teachers feel celebrated and appreciated.

Thank you for supporting the educators who pour so much into our students every single day. Sequoyah is lucky to be surrounded by such a caring and supportive community! ✨

Shoutout to our amazing SEGA students. They dominated history day! We got the 2nd most wins out of the Broken Arrow schools — not too bad for our History department’s first time doing History Day :)

As we head back to school from Spring Break, we want to share a few quick reminders to help our students be successful each day—and finish this school year strong! 💪

📚 Be on time – Arriving to class on time sets the tone for learning and avoids missing important instruction.
📵 No cell phones during the school day – Phones should be put away and out of sight unless directed by a teacher.
📝 Come prepared – Bring all necessary materials and be ready to learn.
✅ Stay on top of assignments – Check grades regularly and complete work on time.
🤝 Be respectful – Show kindness and respect to teachers, staff, and classmates.
🎒 Follow school expectations – Dress appropriately and follow campus guidelines.

There are only a few months left, and every day counts! Let’s work together to help our students stay focused, make good choices, and end the year on a strong and positive note. 💛

Shoutout to one of our amazing teachers for bringing March Mammal Madness into the classroom before spring break! Students jumped into a single-elimination tournament where different species battled it out based on real scientific traits, habitats, and seasonal advantages.

Not only was it incredibly fun and engaging, but it also got students thinking critically and excited about science in a whole new way. Activities like this are what make learning come alive!

Way to go for creating such an unforgettable experience for our students! 👏
