What our members are doing during COVID: Elise Newton
Exclusive Elegance by Elise These have been some scarey times. Since the start of the pandemic, I’ve tried to remain calm and connected. I check in with my clients, every couple of weeks. I want to ensure they are not being overwhelmed with all the updates. One couple has decided to move their June event to next year, but do a private wedding in the next couple of weeks. My September client has decided to mi e forward with a small wedding, but on a small scale according to the CDC requirements. My company has been sharing the printing of announcements as it pertains to the current circumstances. This has caught on and more clients have ordered to keep their guest informed of the plans.
Also, I connected with a nurse in the front lines of a local hospital. I’ve made a donation to have some mask made for her and her coworkers. Due to her long hours she doesn’t much time to shop. I’ve been her shopper to supply produce through a produce company curbside pick up. This gives the nurse free time to whine down before heading back to the hospital for her next shift. She said it’s been nice to have someone that has her back. This is what’s keeping my hand busy.
